Light of the World Childhood Cancer Foundation is an organization that aims to provide programs to those affected by childhood cancer that give spiritual, emotional and financial support, and assist families with finding resources to address practical concerns. Last year, Matt Smith/ATI Physical Therapy collected more than 300 toys for the foundation.

This drive is part of Matt Smith/ATI Physical Therapy’s Changing Lives Campaign, an ongoing effort to aid the Southern Nevada community. Matt Smith/ATI Physical Therapy has hosted a school supply drive for Don E. Hayden Elementary School; continued its Latin Chamber of Commerce scholarship program for students seeking to study healthcare-related fields in college; JDRF support; collected 2,371 pounds of food for Three Square Food Bank; and launched the Change Reaction campaign with the Clark County School District. Change Reaction is a “pay it forward” effort in which several CCSD elementary schools will be giving gifts throughout the year to other schools involved.

In addition, Matt Smith/ATI Physical Therapy has made donations to the following charities: Paralyzed Veterans of America – Nevada Chapter, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Opportunity Village, National Association for Mental Illness, 3 Feet For Pete, The Children’s Heart Foundation, Child Haven, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, and Goodie Two Shoes Foundation.
